Emailing POS invoice disrupts payment transmission to integrated EFTPOS

An issue has been identified with the recent introduction of emailing invoices to customers from POS (Electron) where the terminal also uses integrated EFTPOS.

Any invoice paid by EFTPOS in Infusion, where a valid email address exists, will not be sent through to the Windcave terminal.

Users are advised to turn off the emailed invoices from POS until this issue is resolved.

If the user wishes to retain the setting the following rules apply:

    • Invoices where there is no valid email address paid by EFTPOS will transmit to the integrated EFTPOS as normal.  (eg. Cash Sale customers).
    • Invoices charged to account or paid using a different method will email the invoice out if there is a valid email address.
    • Invoices paid by EFTPOS with a valid email address must be manually processed through the EFTPOS terminal.
