    Migrated Customer/Supplier Sort Keys with Spaces

    When migrating from Infusion Desktop to Infusion Online, you may encounter issues with customer and supplier sort keys.

    What’s Different?

    • Infusion Online does not allow spaces in sort keys.
    • Sort keys with spaces will migrate from Infusion Desktop. 

    Impact

    • If a sort key contains spaces, the customer or supplier record cannot be saved until the sort key is corrected.

    How to Fix

    1. Go to Settings → Customer Settings or Supplier Settings.
    2. Enable Edit Sort Keys.
    3. Remove spaces from sort keys as you edit customers and suppliers.

    Bulk Updates

    If updating sort keys manually is unmanageable:

    • Infusion Support can assist with bulk updates via import to remove spaces.
