When migrating from Infusion Desktop to Infusion Online, you may encounter issues with customer and supplier sort keys.
What’s Different?
- Infusion Online does not allow spaces in sort keys.
- Sort keys with spaces will migrate from Infusion Desktop.
Impact
- If a sort key contains spaces, the customer or supplier record cannot be saved until the sort key is corrected.
How to Fix
- Go to Settings → Customer Settings or Supplier Settings.
- Enable Edit Sort Keys.
- Remove spaces from sort keys as you edit customers and suppliers.
Bulk Updates
If updating sort keys manually is unmanageable:
- Infusion Support can assist with bulk updates via import to remove spaces.
