    Add a Budget

    A business can have multiple budgets for a financial year in addition to it's main budget. These might be by region or department, or in readiness of other factors that could influence a business' performance for the year, for example a drought season in the rural sector. Use Budget Types to set up separate budgets.



    To add an additional Budget select +Add from the Budgets toolbar. Select the Financial Year and the Budget Type from the dropdowns. 

    Additional Budget Types are setup from Settings > Financials > Budget Types. Only listed Budget Types are available to select.

     

    The new Budget is added and is ready to be created.  

    Select Save to return to the Budgets screen.
