When an email is sent from within Infusion the following steps occur:
- Infusion validates the email address format with the Internet Address library with strict rules, which catches the main errors with the email address.
- Once Infusion has a well-formatted email and sends it, the email is processed by the mail server, and if the address has a typo, it’s the mail server’s responsibility to reject it; Unfortunately, Infusion can’t track those errors.
An email address may be recorded as sent within the software as long as the email address is within the Internet Address's rules.
