Smart Grid Settings
A new Smart Grid Setting has been added to turn off inline editing on list views. This option provides more control over data entry and helps prevent accidental modifications.
AutoComplete on Reports
We’ve improved the autocomplete experience to make product selection faster and more consistent. When typing into a product field, pressing Tab now selects the matching product, If there’s no exact match, the first non‑blank option is chosen on pressing Tab, while the blank row remains available for quick clearing.
Searches are now case‑insensitive, and all dialogs use a unified dropdown component for a consistent experience.

Smart Grid
- The Smart Grid is being implemented on the Supplier List view, Customer Backorder List view, Customer Payments list view. This enhancement will allow users to hide columns, apply advanced filters, export to CSV, and rearrange columns, significantly improving the flexibility and usability of the customer list interface.
The Action Status column (Refund, Refunded, Reverse, Reversal) in the Customer Payment screen does not appear in the CSV export because these statuses are displayed as icons. In the CSV file, you can still identify these transactions, as each one will include a corresponding negative transaction.
- The Customer Enquiry - Backorders tab, Payment tab and Product Enquiry Backorders tab are now using Smart Grid functionality. This improvement will enable users to hide columns, export data to CSV, and rearrange columns within the customer enquiry interface, enhancing overall user experience and data management capabilities.
Kitset Enhancements
Improved Kitset Selection
Users can now add Kitset to a Kitset, if the Kitset setting is Update Component Stock when Kitset is set to received.
A new column has been added next to the Code field, displaying a kitset icon with a hover label of “Kitset” making it easier to identify which components are kitsets at a glance.

Automatic Cost and Price Updates
When additional kitsets are added as components, the system now updates values more reliably:
- If Automatically update on kitset costs is enabled, the product cost recalculates.
- If Automatically update price levels is enabled, any price based on cost‑markup updates accordingly.
- If either setting is disabled, the system preserves the existing cost or price.
Smarter Kitset Receipt Processing
When receipting a When Received kitset:
- A Product Transaction Line is created for each component.
- If a component is also a kitset, the system checks stock levels:
- If there isn’t enough stock, the required quantity is automatically created.
- Once available, the stock is consumed as part of the receipt.
- To ensure performance and prevent looping, nested kitsets are processed up to a maximum depth of 10 levels.
