The Contacts tab of a Job, allows the recording of contacts against the job, over and above just the customer the job is assigned to.
Go to the Jobs module and open the job required. Navigate to the Contacts tab and choose Edit to make changes to the contacts.
To link or unlink a contact to the contacts tab.
By default the primary contact on a customers account is added as the contact on the Job. This contact can be changed by using the drop down Name field. This pulls a list of all currently entered contacts on the customer’s account.
For contacts that haven’t been added previously to the customer’s account, use the Add Contact button to leave the job screen and go to the Contact tab, to add a new contact to the customer account.
Currently a contact needs to be added to the customer account first before it can be added as a job contact for that customer on a job.
Linking a contact is done by selecting a contact in the Name dropdown and then choosing the Add icon
Use the unlink icon to unlink a contact who has previously been linked to the job contacts tab.
