    Syncing to Shopify

    Performing an initial sync

Once the initial set up of the Shopify integration has been completed, new buttons become available in the E-commerce Settings.

Re-sync – This starts a sync between Infusion and Shopify, sending information between the two systems. This information includes customers, products and invoice details.

Do not select Re-sync unless you have been advised to by Infusion support. A full re-sync can take hours or over a day for large websites.

Once the first sync has been completed, the sync is triggered with each change in a second, ensuring that stock values, pricing, images and details are up to date at all times. Orders sent from Shopify are automatically synced, updating those details in both systems.

Pause - this is designed to pause a sync before it starts. This allows users to make changes all required to invoices, products, or customers before initialising a Re-sync to begin the sync again and upload all the changes at once.

E-Commerce status - This should either show a sync in progress or sync successful. Contact Infusion Support if a failure is displayed.
