Invoicing Job as Quoted
Customer can invoice a job as quoted from job by clicking the Invoice option from More Options menu.
Clicking the Invoicing option will open the Job Invoice page, where the user must select the details, they wish to display on the invoice and then click ‘Confirm’ to proceed.
When invoicing a job that has been quoted, the ‘Detail From’ Job setting should be set to 'Quote'.
If the Job Invoicing settings defaults to ‘Actuals’, a warning message will appear to alert the user that the invoicing details should be based on the original quote.

Create a Job from a Customer Quote
Users can now add Job directly from a Quote by selecting the +Job option, either from the More Options menu on the main Job page in edit mode or from the spill menu in the Quotes list view.

Selecting this option will prompt the user to confirm the creation of a job for the specified customer. Once confirmed, the job will be created, and the quote will be linked to the job created.

The quote will be marked as accepted once the job is saved; otherwise, it will retain its active status.
Users will not be able to edit, delete, or invoice a quote until the associated Job has been saved.
Quotes List view updates
In the Quotes List view, quotes linked with jobs will display a Job icon, making it easier to identify associated jobs. Hovering over the job icon will reveal job details, such as the job number and status.

Users can use the filter option to view only Quotes that are linked to Jobs.

Linking and Unlinking Jobs to Quotes
Users can now link customer quotes directly to existing jobs using the link option either from the More Options menu, available within an individual customer quote or via the spill menu on the Customer Quote list view.

Clicking the Link option will prompt the user to select a job from a dropdown list.
Please note the dropdown will display only jobs associated with the specific customer.
After selecting a job, if it is already linked to another quote, a warning message will appear. The user will then have the option to either:
- Replace the existing linked quote with the current one, or
- Select a different job and confirm the new link.

Once a quote is successfully linked (via Replace or Confirm), the Quote status is automatically updated to ‘Accepted’
To unlink a quote from a linked Job by selecting the Job from the Jobs list, clicking the arrow icon next to the linked Quote, and choosing the Unlink Quote option from the dropdown menu.

Please note Unlinking a Quote from a Job will not change the Quote’s status from ‘Accepted’.
Additionally, when a Quote with a linked Job is duplicated, the link to the Job will not carry over to the duplicated Quote.
For more details check Creating a Job or linking an existing Job to a Quote
There is a known issue affecting the ability to replace existing quotes when linking to a job. For further information, please check the Known Issues page.
Creating Quote from a Job
Users can now create Quotes directly from a Job by selecting the +Quote option, either from the More Options menu on the main job page in edit mode or from the spill menu in the Job list view.

Job List view updates
In the Jobs List view, jobs linked with quotes will display a Quote icon, making it easier to identify associated quotes. Hovering over the quote icon will reveal quote details, such as the quote number and status.

If a Job is linked to a Quote, it cannot be deleted. Instead, it can only be marked as closed, and the Delete option will not be available for such Jobs.

The Standard Customer Quote Layout has been updated to include the Job number when a Job is linked to the Quote.
