    Customer Item from Invoices (Serial Tracked Products and Kitsets)

    Serial Tracked Product 

    Serial tracked products can be added to a customer invoice, and a Customer Item will be created if both the Product and Customer account settings are enabled for Customer Item creation from invoices. 

    When a serial-tracked product is added to an invoice and a Customer Item is assigned to that product, the serial number must be entered as per the usual invoice entry process.

    The review process for serial tracked products follows the same workflow as the standard Customer Item review process, provided the serial number field on the Customer Item review page will not be editable.

     

    Kitsets Products 

    Customer items will be created from Kitset products if both the product and customer account settings are enabled for customer item creation from invoices.

    When a Kitset product is added to the Invoice and a Customer Item is created, the panel on the left will display the Kitset details along with the components that make up the Kitset.

    The review process for serial tracked products follows the same workflow as the standard Customer Item review process
