Convert a Journal

All unposted Journals can be converted to a different Journal type eg from a Standard to an Accrual journal.

To convert a journal, go to the Spill Menu at the end of the row for the journal, or choose ...More Options from within the journal. The drop-down menu displays the list of options. Select the required option.

A confirmation window displays the change details, Confirm to proceed and change the journal type.

Once converted only the journal type will have changed. Depending on the journal conversion further details may be required for the new journal. For example, recurrence dates are required for a Recurring Journal.
